Audit Manager
My client, a highly acclaimed firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Aberdeen, are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their Audit team following a period of continued growth. This role provides the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and has the added attraction of an element of Corporate Finance responsibility.
You will provide sound, value-add, recommendations to clients, ensure work is completed on time and on budget, monitor work in progress and take a flexible approach to manage several assignments concurrently whilst ensuring high standards are maintained.
Along with providing support to Senior Managers and Partners, you will also maintain close supervisory contact with your team and monitor the progress of their work. You will also ensure that your team receive appropriate training and developing, complete staff appraisals and be seen as a role model within the firm.
Completing work of an advanced technical nature, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Corporate Finance team assisting them with due diligence reviews and other CF transactions. In addition, you will play a key role in developing client relationships, actively promoting additional services to existing and potential clients and network effectively within the local market.
To be considered for this role, you should be qualified (via CA or ACCA) and have a minimum of 3 years PQE. In addition you should have a strong technical knowledge gained within an Audit role within practice.
