Audit Manager - Prestigious local CPA Firm
Very prestigious local CPA firm with a real opportunity for partnership is looking for a qualified Audit Manager.
The audit manager will play a major part in the planning and designing of audit programs, communicating results and performing major assurance and consulting activities for the organization.
Ideal candidate must have the ability to interface with clients at the highest level and run audit engagements as primary point of contact.
This public accounting firm promotes a work life balance, and promotion from within.
Clients include companies in financial sector, construction, governmental entities, real estate, and retail.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead and execute audit engagements.
- Supervise, develop and train engagement teams on audit engagements.
- Interact directly with Partners on matters related to client and engagement management.
- Assist with strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities by participating in sales meetings and working on proposals.
Qualifications:
- CPA Certification required (CIA or CFE preferred)
- 5+ years of audit experience
- Knowledgeable of GAAP, GASS and Auditing Standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
- Excellent written/verbal communications and collaboration skills
- Strong leadership and business development skills
Salary will be based on experience, and will be paid at market plus the opportunity for a generous bonus based on productivity as well as bonus potential for any business generated at the firm.
