Audit Manager Banking/Asset Management
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced audit manager or assistant manager who is looking to step up and has experience gained working with banking, asset management, investment or financial services clients. The job is based in the city centre of Edinburgh within a global organisation. You will have experience working within public practice or working within a financial services or asset management organisation. You will have gained your accountancy qualification either ACCA, ACA, ICAS or equivalent and will have a number of year post qualification experience. You will have a varied client base, key clients will include large retail banks, asset management and investment companies a with asset values or turnover ranging between £10M - £500M. You will be leading all stages of the audit process from start to sign off, manage junior members of the team, report to UK GAAP and IFRS standards, assist with the completion meetings. If you have experience auditing funds it would be very desirable. This is a client facing role, you will need to to be confident in dealing directly with clients senior management.
You will need to have good leadership skills, technical ability and attention to detail. Additionally, it is important that you are commercially aware and are able to build and maintain client relationships.
