Audit Manager, Global Banking & Markets recruitment
The Global Banking Markets (GBM) Internal Audit division are seeking an experienced Audit Manager. This team specialises primarily in audit coverage of banking activities, comprising capital market and issuance activities on behalf of corporate and financial clients of RBS. Business activities include MA, loan, debt and equity issuance, corporate broking and portfolio management.
As an Audit Manager your primary responsibility is to deliver individual audits as team leader, and you may also operate as a team member on other audit projects. You will also determine the scope of the audit, how to carry it out, and the testing strategy, in conjunction with the Senior Audit Manager.
You will be expected to deliver audits on time and to quality standards, whilst fostering proactive relationships with the business, and providing robust and challenging insight on business risk and control processes.
This demanding post requires high level business specific technical knowledge, including either audit or capital markets activities and other primary investment banking activities experience, and the associated risk and controls. Finance, banking or accounting qualifications are highly desirable.
