An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified candidate to join the head office of a growing international bank. You will support the business in leading and undertaking the internal audit plan across all of the financial products offered by the organisation.
You will provide recommendations to the business in order to mitigate issues of risk and provide recommendations to the business to shore up audit procedures. You will enhance the audit framework in line with APRA legislative / statutory requirements and engage stakeholders to ensure buy-in. Over time you will build a team underneath you to ensure the audit function delivers on their objectives.
You will be a qualified accountant / auditor (CA/ CPA / CIA) with prior experience of auditing banks or working within a bank in their internal audit function. You will be a self starter who is able to manage time effectively. You will display strong technical skills and enjoy working in a growing environment where new projects will often come up. Knowledge of wholesale banking products is very useful.
