Due to promotion this Audit Manager role has just been created at a mid tier firm of accountants. The firm are well known for their hands on approach to servicing their clients which has returned a high amount of referrals over the past two years and a large increase in the size of their client base.
The aim of this firm is not to be the biggest, but to offer the best possible service to their clients and reward their staff with an enjoyable working atmosphere and an environment where your career can thrive.
Why this role?
You will be walking into a ready made portfolio of fees totalling the $400k mark and be expected to build on this over the next 12 months. This gives you a great platform on to build your career to senior management.
There is a team of 5 auditors to mentor and train at the moment and this number is set to increase in the next graduate intake.
The firm is entirely owned by the partners, so there is no red tape when decisions need to be made.
Work life balance is one of the most important factors to the partners, they know that you have a life outside of work, which is why they expect everyone to leave the office at 6, even in busy times.
You get close client interaction and really feel like you are making a difference to a business.
To be considered for this role you need to be CA or CPA qualified and be working at an audit manager grade in an Australian firm. You also need to have experience of directly managing junior members and have had your own portfolio of fees.
