Audit Manager, Retail
A large retail banking group is looking for an Audit Manager to join their growing and expanding Retail and Wealth banking, concentrating on customer products and everyday banking. This team sits within the larger Retail and Wealth department. This job will offer a unique level of exposure to different product lines, which can rarely be found in another role. The bank is focused on developing your career with lots of opportunities for internal mobility. You would be reporting to the Head of Audit for the department, who is looking to offer a lot of responsibility a person who is up to the challenge, the learning curve and the personal and professional development this role expects.
Few areas get to see the full breadth of the organisation, but this team has the trust and support of the whole business to make it a reality. The culture in the function is collaborative and committed to a diverse and inclusive group of colleagues. You will lead and undertake a number of audits in accordance with the agreed plan, as well as identify and assess potential risks working in line with current regulatory and statutory requirements to minimise impact to the business.
The ideal candidate
· Would be in a top practice as an external auditor with financial services experience
· ACA/ACCA qualified
· IT audit experience is a bonus
· You would need an understanding of core consumer products such as personal loans, credit cards, overdraft and mortgages
· A proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management is core
· A team player who will work as part of a business unit toward a common goal is the attitude the company is looking for
