Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of domestic and international inward investment clients which operate across a variety of sectors, including retail, technology, communications, entertainment, manufacturing and not for profit;
- Assisting in the management of a team of Audit Assurance staff, including involvement in the process for setting and agreeing performance management objectives, training records, recruitment and selection;
- Managing and monitoring the department key performance indicators, including assignment budgets, staff utilisation, fee and debtor targets etc.;
- Contributing to firm wide and department initiatives, including the training of staff and the development of technical knowledge;
- Liaising with other departments, including taxation, company secretarial and consultancy in the delivery of Audit Assurance Services and input to other specialist assignments;
Internal Audit Services
We will provide an opportunity for the successful applicant to seek to develop their skill base in the delivery of internal audit services to our Internal Audit client base. This will include working closing with a Director and Partner responsible for these areas. Previous Internal Audit Experience is not a pre-requisite but would be an advantage.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 3 years+ PQE;
- Prior practice experience within an Audit team;
- Experience in leading a team while simultaneously delivering multiple assignments to a diverse client-base;
- Client focussed with strong commercial expertise.
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills;
