Full Job Description

Our client is a medium-sized London Accountancy firm who has been established for over 40 years. They are seeking an experienced Qualified Audit Senior to join their city based practice to help in providing a first class accountancy and audit service to a wide and varied range of clients by taking responsibility for the efficient execution of all assignments.

Having first class technical ability, along with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, you will be looking to continually learn, improve and progress your career.

Responsibilities will include:
* Leading audits, usually at the clients' premises, overseeing the audit team
* Ensure audit files are completed and delivered to the Manager for review
* Assisting to prepare statutory accounts
* Liaising with clients
* Ensure all aspects of file completion are carried out effectively
* Manage performance costs and escalate any problems as required
* Report on audit files and ensure full documentation for the Manager.
* Assist supervise, train and develop staff
* Review both site and office performance, providing informal feedback as appropriate
* Keep up to date with auditing, accounting and general taxation issues
* Resolve technical issues as necessary and report to management
* To be an active and responsible team member both on site and in the office.
* Ad-hoc duties as required
