Audit Senior to $87K Job in Boston, Massachusetts US
We are currently working with Big 4 and National CPA firms looking for Audit Seniors. Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients in the Real Estate, Financial Services, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Technology Industries. Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Managers and Partners as well as technical matters to both clients and upper management. Identify performance improvement opportunities. Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient, serving as a liaison between clients and upper management. The ideal candidate must have considerable knowledge of public accounting audit practices and procedures; considerable knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS and SEC standards; thorough knowledge of first level review of basic audit work reports produced by associates; demonstrates thorough technical skills regarding applicable accounting and reporting standards in researching, completing and reviewing audit areas; working experience designing engagement procedures based on risk, materiality and discussions with the engagement team; demonstrates some knowledge of the issues facing the Technology industry such as: business combinations, complex capital structures, stock based compensation, multiple element revenue recognition, and variable interest entities; at least 3 years of relevant experience; a BA or BS in Accounting or business related field.
