We currently have an exciting Contract opportunity for an Auditor in Columbia, SC. The Auditor will be responsible for providing a full range of financial, compliance, and operational audits, as well as business advisory, consultation services, investigations, internal control structures, accountability, and use of resources. Responsibilities and prospects for professional growth include Conduct internal and external timely operational and financial audits of divisions, departments, providers, and activities of the corporation Identify, document, and evaluate business risks Documents issues, the causes of those issues, and their effects on the process/function and the corporation Drafts recommendations to limit risks and improve processes, functions, and activities Writes audit reports for corporate executive management that clearly and effectively convey engagement evaluations, conclusions, and recommendations Collects and analyzes data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies Develops detailed reports on each audit conducted Reports include a review of findings and an identification of recommendation to correct any deficiencies and methods for improvement to processes Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity Conduct special audit studies from management, such as those required to discover mechanical controls for prevention of fraud Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for management Assist other auditors in completing their assignments as a means of maximizing audit efficiency and thus reducing lost time and involvement of corporate personnel Education and experience required Bachelors Degree Accounting, Finance, Business Administration 3 Years auditing experience Knowledge of the principles and practices of auditing Ability to analyze and determine the applicability of financial data Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations for analyzed data Ability to gather information by examining records and documents and interviewing individuals Licenses and Certificates a plus Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) In addition to working with the most recognized and trusted name in staffing, Kelly employees can expect: Competitive pay Access to a comprehensive employee benefits package including health, prescription, vision, dental, and life and short-term disability insurance Paid service bonus and holidays Portable 401(k) plans Recognition and incentive programs Access to continuing education via the Kelly Learning Center For immediate consideration, click the APPLY NOW button, or refer a friend by clicking the EMAIL THIS JOB link provided.
