By joining the audit team at NAB your career opportunities are endless. Join the Internal Audit team and you can expect;
- To get access to all areas of the Bank and see the overall picture of the Company (this gives an Auditor the opportunity to develop strong networks with a view to gaining their next role in one of those business units)
- To investigate pockets of the bank to ensure controls are in place and operating effectively to manage risk (think Sherlock Holmes!)
- Once investigations are complete to work with the business to improve current practice
- To effect change
- To make a difference ? make recommendations in audit reports and watch them progress to completion
Your responsibilities will be to execute and report on all the audit activities assigned to you. You will be required to take responsibility for your stakeholder relationships as well ensure that Audit meets its obligation under the Audit Charter.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in financial services, external audit and/or internal audit. You will be degree qualified and may be currently undertaking your CA/CPA qualification Your proven ability to deliver, well developed communication skills and the ability to develop meaningful working relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders will be key selection criteria.
To be eligible to apply, you must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status.
