Avis Budget Group Now Hiring Auto Appraiser Manager! Take the appropriate administrative action to process company vehicles at auction/disposal facility. Responsibilities include signing off vehicles, condition reports and vehicle titles on behalf of the company. Works idle reports to reduce Days to Acceptance. Disputes charges on each car with all manufacturers to reduce cost per car and eliminate rejects. Communicate findings to sending cities to improve the turnback process on future disposal with all manufacturers. bull; Interprets, implements, and administers all fleet vehicle manufacturers disposals programs. Monitors and controls costs associated with various manufacturers disposal programs bull; Utilizes reporting and documentation to monitor all disposal program eligible vehicles. Prepares various reports for management. bull; Negotiates with various manufacturers on fleet vehicle structural and refinishing techniques. Provides feedback to keep other managers informed of problems or developments bull; Understands and coordinates the auctions, biddings, and disposals of fleet vehicles that are ineligible for disposal. Directly oversees repairs on vehicles that have been rejected by auction representatives. Coordinates timely preparation and transportation of vehicles that are to be disposed or sold. bull; Partners with Damage Manager to ensure that manufacturer inspectors are accurate and consistent in their damage appraisal. bull; Performs vehicle inspections in a demanding outdoor environment, operates on an as-needed basis in a fast-paced multi-organization facility bull; Ensure all auction processes are aligned with strategic remarketing objectives bull; Completes the necessary processes and documentation. (Inspect vehicle with charges over manufactures deductable. Reviews/approves condition report charges. Signs condition report and titles.) bull; May provide assistance in other departments when fleet vehicles are in low turnback volume bull; May assist Wholesale Manager representing cars that are sold at the wholesale auctions. Qualifications: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities bull; Ability to identify existing damage/prior repairs bull; Ability to understand various manufacturer guide lines and strong negotiating skills are key. bull; Good communicator in variety of settings (interacts effectively with customers and auction staff). bull; Body damage appraisal experience preferred bull; Knowledge of auction process preferred bull; Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Candidates must meet all basic qualifications and submit a complete application to be considered for this position.
