AUTO ELECTRICIAN (Trades pref) – multi site project, Sydney-wide

 

·          Upgrading Commercial vehicles, Sydney-wide (based W Subs Sydney)

·          6 mths contract – extendable / go perm

·          To $75,000 per annum, pro rata + super + holiday sickness + vehicle, uniforms expenses all provided!!

 

Join this multi-disciplined team of 5, part of a large, multi-million dollar project for the transportation industry.  Our client is a large multinational employer, and we have already hired two strong teams for them.  To complete our third team, we now require an additional team member.  Working depot by depot to upgrade all vehicles on a schedule, you need to be flexible about hours, and a 38 hour week is expected with occasional overtime.  Some weekend and after hours work is definitely required.  Site locations include: Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Wollongong region.

 

Based near Homebush, teams drive out in company vehicle to the pre-scheduled sites and may spend one or multiple days there, sometimes staying overnight in pre-paid accommodation. There is a mix of brand and design of vehicles, offering challenge and variety to the job.

 

We need to hire 1, possibly 2, AUTO ELECTRICIANS (TRADESPEOPLE preferred) to undertake testing and installation duties, working in confined spaces and closely with their teams.  Motivation and quality of work are important, as well as reliability and the ability to provide solid job references.

 

Skills required include:

 

·          Electrical diagnosis skills

·          3-5 yrs previous experience as an Auto Electrician

·          Ability to read schematic diagrams, and make necessary updates

·          Good team player, flexible approach

·          Good communications

·          Ability to offer at least 6 months consistent work, ideally longer term, as these roles are expected to EXTEND OR GO PERMANENT

 

If you do not have a current “White Card” (NSW OHS) we will make sure that you undertake the course (you will be paid both to attend and for the course itself) on your first day.  After that, you will undergo induction training, and support will be provided so that you can do a great job.
