Title: Automation Architect, Equities QA Testing - Tier One Investment Bank

Introduction: Montash Associates have been engaged by one of the most prestigious banking organisations in the world, to assist in the expansion of an addition of an Automation Architect for the Equities QA team. This is a global team.

The Organisation: One of the world’s biggest brands, a Tier One Investment Bank with a very positive reputation.

The Team: The Investment Bank are currently embarking a period of extended growth. The successful candidate will have ownership and develop current automation solutions. This is a team orientated environment responsible for developing a global QA automation platform.

The Role: This individual will ideally have in depth experience testing and creating complex multi-layered systems and will be maintaining the team’s core offering ensuring the highest levels of software quality. This role will involve hands on leadership and will be working alongside other senior individuals within the organisation. You will be responsible for driving automation and efficiency gains. You will be a strategic worker but happy to develop your own solutions and you will also mentor other members of the team.

The Skills:

• Experience working in the financial industry and Equities or etrading essential.

• Understanding of front to back Equities business and data flows.

• Experience testing complex multi layered and multi technology systems.

• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

• Experience working with Java and Linux

• Good computer science/engineering degree or similar

The Package: This bank is looking to attract the best candidate from their competitors to work on these exciting projects, as a result they won’t be beaten on total comp. A base of up to £120,000 plus a very strong discretionary bonus mean that only the best need apply.
