Job Summary:

The Mobius Operations organization in Danvers, MA is looking for a dynamic engineer to lead the Automation and Controls requirements for Manufacturing including investigation of new innovative technologies for process improvements and labor efficiencies.  The role will also support the transfer of new products and processes from RD including engineering support during the product development process.  This position will interface directly with EMD Millipore Corporate Information group to manage all manufacturing process data and asset management.  The position may include supervision of process engineers.

Job Responsibilities:

Automation equipment controls specifications requirements

Manufacturing support for all process data and asset management

New product development team member representing Manufacturing

Stay current with automation controls technology software

Liaison with external Automation integrators internal Corporate Information group

Define and implement GAMP and 21 CFR part 11 requirements as required for existing and new equipment

Deliver innovative, high performance solutions technologies within prescribed timeframe, budget and quality

BS in Electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing, equipment integrator or RD environment
 
Demonstrated technical mastery in controls and automation with knowledge of common software and hardware platforms
 
Skilled in advanced process control and data acquisition
 
Knowledge of relevant national and international electrical compliance standards (CE, UL, CSA, etc..)
In depth understanding of instrument calibration standards including NIST.
 
Acts as technical expert in qualifying instrument performance and new manufacturing lines
 
Ability to manage supplier network or outsourced projects.
 
Skilled in project management.
 
Very good organizational, communication, and presentation skills
 
Strong leadership and results oriented personality
