Automation Controls Instructor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support plant floor activities (Launch Support, Fast Response, Quality Consulting, etc.)
- Develop technical training programs and course materials
- Deliver technical training programs in a lecture/demonstration format
- Deliver Structured on the Job training in a production environment
- Work closely with customer Skilled Trades teams
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Five + years experience in Manufacturing Technology or applicable experience
- 2 year Associates Degree or Equivalent
- Technical writing skills
- Allen Bradley ControlLogix and GuardLogix
- Siemens Step 7 software experience
- Other controls and robot experience is a plus
- Previous work/training experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Willingness to travel 50% to various plants across Us and Canada
