AUTOMATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER #1373619
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and lead a global engineering team to perform automation development
- Work with Core Engineering, QA, Program Management and peer teams to manage automation development/releases
- Perform automation development
- Architect and design automation for different hardware platforms
- Retain and scale the organization for future growth
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Mathematics/Engineering.
- Strong knowledge in Linux is a must.
- Strong development experience with Perl and/or Python in Linux is a must.
- Sound working knowledge of UI automation in Linux is a must.
- Good knowledge on System level test development which includes working with Kernel API's and test automation for device driver test plans.
- Should have worked on large / complex applications. Understanding of code manipulation and optimization issues.
- Good Knowledge of SQL Server and writing SQL queries
- Experience in planning/scheduling development projects for multiple people.
- Participated in application end to end life cycle (Design, coding, testing and deployment).
- Strong problem solving and coaching skills to assist team members with their projects.
- Has designed and implement test automation tools or test infrastructure solutions is a plus.
- Experience in managing global teams overseas is a plus.
- Good written verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work closely collaboratively with other Development QA teams especially across geographies.
- A passion for quality, for doing the right thing for the customer (Internal Teams), the product, and for the company.
