"Our top financial client is looking for a strong .Net or Java developer that is comfortable with doing build release automation"" A Senior Automation Engineer role in the Wholesale Automation and Release Engineering(WARE) ALMS team. The ALMS team is responsible for integrated Configuration Change Management, Release Management, Code Management, Service Management and Lifecycle Automation and Deployment. These services support Wholesale applications, a highly integrated, complex environment. The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for interfacing with the application teams to assist them in determining the most efficient and value-added method of automating their application Lifecycle development activities to move their application through the process to implementation. In addition to these consultative activities, the Senior Automation Engineer will work with the applications teams, technology partners, and all relevant teams to on-board the application team and their applications into the WARE-Automation portion of ALMS. They will lead onboard efforts and matrix teams of automation engineers. Once on-boarding, the WARE-Automation Senior Engineer will maintain a partnership/working relationship with the application teams and partners to proactively modify and add workflows as appropriate to continue maximizing the value of the service to the application teams and the business clients they support. The senior engineers will also facilitate the implementation of the Application Lifecycle process and the Build and Release Services. This person will proactively research, test and implement additional tools of value to the Automation Framework in support of the application teams and the WARE-Framework team. Strong strategic thinker and the proven ability to execute (ability to think strategically and lead matrix team and partners to implement and deliver) - Proven results in delivery against commitments - Significant experience with application development at a senior level to best understand and convey the value of the service to the application teams - Proven ability to manage and direct virtual teams - Excellent ability to communicate/present to all levels of the organization, including executive management - Extensive technical knowledge and experience to support the current Framework Tools, automation activities and planning. This includes experience in Application Lifecycle Management Automation tools and integration including Anthill Pro, CVSNT, Subversion, Jira, Quality Center and Fortify. - Must have demonstrated track record of taking manually built / deployed applications and working with the application development team to streamline, optimize and automate their build/deploy methods using the automation tools above. Must have experience with static and dynamic code analysis, techniques and tools. Must understand compliance, risk, regulation and audit issues and procedures to ensure resulting automation meets all OCC, internal, external and security regulations and guidelines. - Strong relationship management skills - Investment Banking / Wholesale Banking / Brokerage / Banking experience Familiarity with ITIL (esp. Change Mgmt), SOA and/or Managed Utility Services models. Must have experience with Agile concepts and techniques across the lifecycle.
