Job Description
We are looking for the following experience:
- PLC / DCS / SCADA programming
- HMI graphic design / configuration
- Commissioning automation solutions
- Development / interpretation of configuration standards and control narratives
- Development / implementation of advanced control strategies
- Development / interpretation of control system architecture drawings
- Interpretation of process PIDs
- Software application installation and testing
- Control system design of large sized industrial projects
Desired Skills Experience
Qualifications:
A thorough knowledge of PLC Configuration, schematics, wiring and cable systems is required. You must have good oral and written communications skills. Experience with GE Fanuc and Wonderware SCADA systems would be definite assets.
- Degree / diploma in an automation related field
- experience working on automation projects in the mining and water/wastewater systems
- Ability to react quickly and conduct yourself professionally under stressful, real-time situations
- Familiarity with computer programming techniques, especially pertaining to binary logic
- Be able to foster professional relationships with people from a variety of technical backgrounds and skill sets
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Technical writing experience
- Site pre-commissioning /commissioning experience
- Electrical Trade would be an additional asset
