Account Manager

Our new team member will be responsible for managing the communication link between Club Assist and the AAA Club(s), to address issues in relation to the Battery Service, to mediate, negotiate and resolve members disputes, to assist the Club(s) manage work flow in order to maximize sales and minimize job loss.
Primary Responsibility:
- Responsible for working with the contractors, contractor light service/battery drivers, CLUB(S) call center, and CLUB(S) field personnel.
- Primary contact for all battery sales, battery service issues, and training for the contractors in his area. Keeps in contact with clients, answers their questions, and deals with complaints.
- Manages the service or sale accounts, with duties entailing estimating and analyzing records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.
- Responsible for sales budget.
- Finds and contacts potential new customers.
- Predicts future market trends and develops new sales ideas. Interprets accounts and records to management.
- Implementation and rolls out business plan goals.
- Manages sales numbers
- Ensure contractor service is aware of initiatives and current battery promotions.
- Account Receivable. Ensure procedure in place to follow-up bad debts.
- Forecasting
- Warranty rates
- Oversee and coordinate field training
- Marketing support
- Work with the non-producing contractors as a first priority and visiting all contractors on a monthly or bi-weekly as necessary.
- Attends trade shows and conferences
- Compile monthly reports of debts.
- Weekly activity/progress reports which will be analyzed with monthly sales reports to track the progress being made with his contractors.
Essential Skills:
- 4 year degree desired or equivalent work experience.
- Must have Automotive Service or Technical knowledge
- Sales experience 3+ years, marketing experience helpful
- Ability to air or road travel 50%
- Strong relationship building skills (internal, Club, Contractor)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Innovative
- Able to multi-task and able to work under pressure
- Understanding of basic financials (Budget, PL)
- Computer skills – word, excel, PowerPoint
- Implementation skills: ability to identify, schedule and complete tasks
- Report-writing and data analysis
- Goal-oriented (driven to meet or exceed goals)
Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000.00 (Based on Experience)
A company vehicle is provided.
