We are seeking SEVERAL experienced full-time Body Shop/ Collision Repair Technicians to join our growing staff in our state of the art collision center in Chantilly Virginia. We have more work than we can handle.

The Collision Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair as assigned in accordance with the dealer and factory standards.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy

·         Plans repairs by evaluating damage; preparing cost estimates; coordinating repairs with other required services; ordering and gathering parts, supplies, equipment, and tools

·         Maintains quality service by following repair standards; conducting test drive and final inspection; correcting deficiencies; obtaining approval from customer

·         Repairs automotive bodies by removing, fabricating, attaching, and aligning parts; repairing dents; filling and sealing depressions; hammering, shaping, shrinking, expanding, filing, grinding, sanding, smoothing, and featheredging surfaces; applying repair techniques and tools, including, wrenches, cutting torch, dent puller, hand, pneumatic, and power tools, grinder, sander, welder, straightener, power, foot, and hand shear, brake, drill press, drills, etc.

·         Sheet metal alignment to OEM standards

·         Communicates with Parts Department to obtain the needed parts

·         Attends factory sponsored training classes

·         Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous wastes

·         Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers,suppliers, and safety standards

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

 

ü  Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of automotive Auto body experience in a collision repair facility.

ü  Candidates need to be able to maintain an efficient work flow with little to no direction.

ü  Excellent customer service skills are required.

ü  ASE certification is a plus.

ü  ICAR or automotive training is a plus.

ü  High School Diploma/GED.

ü  Must have a valid driver's license.
