Automotive Diagnostic Equipment Sales Position Summary:
Do you enjoy selling to both the end user and via channel sales?
Directly selling Diagnostics product to end user, as well as driving indirect sales thru existing sales channels via product and sales training. The successful candidate will be responsible for the demonstration, training and sale of advanced Diagnostic equipment to our Franchisees and customers.
Do you have a passion for electronics and automotive diagnostics?
The successful candidate will be experienced in automotive diagnostics and have previous sales experience. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of electronic equipment, be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A vehicle for business use, flexibility to travel and a valid driver's license, are required. Successful candidates have come from fields such as Service Advisors, Mechanics, Service Technicians, Service Managers, etc.

What does the position entail?
- Perform business evaluation/coaching rides with Franchisees 2-3 days per week
- Teach product and sales skills to Franchisees
- Secure orders for additional Diagnostics products
- Demonstrate products to customers
- Perform product training to customers
- Direct sales of Diagnostics products to shop owners
- Attend FPT meetings to present promotions
- Staff and support trade-shows, and attend sales meetings as required
- Keep current with automotive and computer technology through reading or attending applicable courses or seminars
- Maintain assigned inventory levels
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
Years of Experience:
· 3-5 years of experience with automotive industry in some capacity (personal, professional)
Other Requirements:
· Understanding and operation of electronic equipment
· Excellent PC skills and Internet experience
· Communication s and presentations
· Solid understanding of automotive repair business as it relates to ROI and marketing of repair services
· Territory management
· Negotiating
· Ability to travel 30-80% of the time (depending on region of country)
