Automotive Sales Manager - Gallery Automotive Group
Job Purpose:
Profit and loss responsibility for front end (sales) functions of the retail facility. Implement sales plans, manage sales staff.
Support a work environment that ensures a positive customer experience at every step of the purchase and ownership experience.
Design and implement cost-effective, market-driven campaigns to promote the retail facility and its quality product line.
Duties:
* Increase reatil facility business and market share by developing and meeting aggressive volume sales goals from both existing and new client sources for both new and used cars and financing and insurance.
* Maximize profits by setting and achieving target levels for gross profit and managing expenses.
* Ensure management policies and procedures are understood and followed by all team members. Maintain high morale, high motivation levels with team members, and low turn-over.
* Ensure regular use of sales prospecting, traffic control, and follw-up-systems to increase retail business.
* Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
* Maintain sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent leadership, management (to include hiring, coaching, training, counceling), and communication skills; goal oriented. Highly skilled in customer negotiations, customer service, and customer satisfaction. Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills. ADP knowledge a plus.
