Auxiliary Nurse / Healthcare Assistant Level 2
Hays is working with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to recruit an experienced Health Care Assistant at Level 2 to work with the British Army in Epsom, Surrey.
Your Duties will involve:
Provision of general basic nursing care under indirect supervision of the practice nurse team leader
Provision of administrative support as required within competencies
Undertaking tasks and duties delegated by a suitably qualified regulated professional. Provision of administrative support as required within competencies.
Clinical measurements, visual acuteness, venepuncture, ECG, urinalysis and preparation of specimens, understanding of infection control.
Effective communicator with other team members and patients.
To assist the MOs and practice nurse teams within Primary Health Care clinics.
You must have the following
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
NVQ Level 2 in health care or have the equivalent experience.
Medical Devices Competencies, Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, Basic Life Support and Manual Handling Training.
Previous experience on a Hospital ward or Hospital environment.
Desirable
Previous experience of working with MOD.
Chaperone training.
Audiometry
First Aid certification
