AV Systems Designer / Presales Engineer

The role is to manage tenders with consultant business, M+E companies, Architects, Interior Designers and all main contractor enquiries / RFI. This involves the project management of the tender response process, bid presentations and ensuring the company is in the best position to win the project. You will need skills design audio visual systems using AutoCAD ideally but candidates with skills in Visio will be considered. After the award of the projects you will also be tasked ensuring the monetary success of the project through close management with the related in house teams, Project Management / installation and commissioning. You will most closely with sales colleagues visiting clients and adding a technical edge to the sales process. This means that you will have either come from the commercial or residential market and have a thorough know how of Crestron automation systems, Lutron lighting systems, home IT networks, media players (Kaleidescape), Extron, Kramer, Procon switching and beyond.
