AVP – Credit Risk Control & Reporting (Corporate Investment banking) recruitment

Our client is looking to hire a dynamic and self-motivated Credit Risk Control Reporting Manager working closely with Credit Risk Offices in Asia. The incumbent will assist with the management of delivery of a professional cost effective support service to the business, provide clarity, direction support to all stakeholders for credit risk control matters as well as credit risk management info/reporting and maintaining effective working partnerships with all location credit risk offices in Asia to ensure efficient robust credit risk info management reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Achieve uphold the bank’s credit control framework culture by actively participating in the credit processes especially when a weaken credit is identified and to work closely with stakeholders.

• Develop put in place a robust accurate credit risk management information reporting management infrastructure/framework.

• Pro-active credit portfolio management including periodic credit portfolio review cum analysis reporting.

• Coverage include credit portfolio development trends (both country regional levels), core client/product/collateral analysis with regard to credit, collateral, country, market risks and portfolio stress testing.

• Spearhead, co-ordinate generate regular ad hoc credit risk reporting - includes regular credit dashboard tracking reporting which covers key credit risk indicators such as LQE credits, top borrowers/rainmakers, large shortfall and/or excess accounts, credit overdue reviews etc.

• Ad hoc reporting at portfolio or specific country levels which may be triggered in extreme market conditions e.g. severe market fluctuations.

• Oversight pro-active validation of all local LQE credit recoveries efforts and local management of key shortfall /or limit excess accounts.

• Active management of specific product portfolio on a regular basis eg property portfolio quality, credit exposures against insurance products, evergreen credits, ULI product exposures, country risk limits management and etc.

The ideal candidate should be degree qualified with 6-8 years of relevant experience coupled with strong knowledge and understanding of CIB credit risk control risk management information reporting processes, policies and procedures, preferably in a private banking environment. Ability to prepare accurate and focused credit reports, strong analytical and technical skills with an ability to apply in a practical and balanced manner.
