AVP – Data Business Analyst – Metadata / Data Modelling – Leading Investment Bank
Leading Investment Bank is looking to recruit AVP Business Analyst with a background in data normalisation, data analytics, and data modelling to work in an established team to provide a single global Transfer Pricing solution, which replace a more fragmented tactical solution that has evolved over time.
As the Buisness Analyst you will analyse and define business requirements, translate them into business processes and liaise with IT for the technical implementation. In order to fulfil the role, you will have to cover both, a detailed understanding of the business contents and the reporting requirements as well as their conceptual and technical representation in the data warehouse and the modelling within the corresponding technical reporting and calculation frameworks. You will deal with Finance, Risk and Tax analytics and reporting specialists to cover and analyse their requirements and also with the IT department to specify these requirements and to ensure that they are technically integrated and implemented correctly.
Should have solid SQL for writing data queries due to the volume of the data and be able to translate between departments who use different jargon to discuss the same things.
Any knowledge of qwikview or cognos useful – data analytics orientated with some appreciation of the main functions of an Investment Bank.( Product Control, Financial Control, Regulatory )
