Our client is an internationally renowned top-tier investment banking group with a strong presence in Hong Kong and across Asia. Due to new initiatives, they are looking to recruit a Business Administration Manager to be involved in a wide range of strategic objectives across the Hong Kong Finance area.
This function focuses on reporting to the COO in Finance and supporting the APAC region with headcount management and staff development, and providing support to the CFO regarding strategic planning and regional management across more than 10 Asian countries. The successful candidate will provide strategic presentations to senior management and review business cases related to headcount management and approvals. You will track ongoing staff movements and source appropriate candidates both internally and externally, by liaising with external recruiters. Additionally, the role involves looking at learning and staff development plans for the finance teams and ensuring staff training is relevant to the jobholders.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree, preferably in business administration or marketing
- 5+ years experience within a business management, administration / workforce and headcount resource planning role in an international investment bank
- Thorough understanding of the finance accounting function in an investment bank
- A flexible, proactive and innovative approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent command of English is essential
