AVP – Business Analyst – Operations Regulatory Control recruitment

Our global investment banking client is looking to hire an AVP business analyst, to play a key role in a major Operations Regulatory Control change programme for the business.

You will be responsible for Project managing Business and Regulatory changes that impact Transaction Reporting.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Business analysis – requirements gathering and analysis using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Identify and solve complex business facing problems and help to drive the necessary resulting change

• Process Improvement and Control - partnering with functional groups to produce process mapping in a complete end to end business view and following analysis, produce recommendations for improvements in terms of efficiency and control

• Execution - Working with core team from the business, agree defined action plan with owners and dates and follow through to delivery

• As required in the development of the functional design by I.T, support Operations Regulatory Control in providing more detailed requirements, (MIS, functionality etc), and where required working with other Ops functions input in to these.

• Assist in the development of UAT testing requirements throughout implementation of each aspect of the tools design. Execute testing, providing results of this to Operations Regulatory Control and I.T

• Assist in the production of Regression test packs to be conducted post implementation of any new features. Execute testing, providing results of this to Operations Regulatory Control and I.T

• As issues are flagged, conduct UAT testing of fixes prior to changes and regression testing post changes, providing results of this to Operations Regulatory Control and I.T

• Assist in embedding in to BAU post go live, document processes and procedures for issue mgmt within the Operations Regulatory Control team, and any hand offs to other departments
