AVP – Business Analyst Product Reference Data – Leading Investment Bank recruitment
Leading Investment Bank is looking to recruit an AVP Product Reference Data Business Analyst with a strong understanding of the flows of product data throughout the lifecycle of a trade for the management of multiple projects relating to the synchronization and remediation of consumer application data prior to adoption onto the client reference data service.
The Product Reference Data Programme aim is to establish a single hierarchy for use across the organisation. This will support the definition of data attributes that describe the product and support operational processes.
The position will work across several workstreams such as;
* Workstream will establish a single master product list and hierarchy including core valuation attributes to enable the product to be uniquely identified. The full set of attributes will be identified during the requirements capture and analysis stages of the projects within the support strategic initiatives workstream
* Will consist of a number of projects either delivering requirements to existing external projects / programmes such as Rates and Credit or working through a prioritised book of work.
* Workstream is responsible for defining, implementing and operating change control processes across product data to ensure consistency across the organisation.
The role will also be a Product Architecture / Adoption function which will provide architectural guidance and identify options for pragmatic implementation of the product hierarchy across the business.
Must possess a wide knowledge of financial services products, primarily Rates, Equities, Credit and Commodities and worked in a range of functions within a major bank and would ideally have extensive exposure to product data and an appreciation of the value of reference data.
