AVP, Business Partner to Credit Division
Global Investment Bank seeks qualified Finance professional for a product focused Finance Business Partner role.
The Client:
Top Tier Investment bank with offices across Europe, the US and Asia with a particular focus in Asia. The role will partner with their Credit business, which is currently thriving, offering an excellent career choice for candidates with knowledge related to credit or structured products. The business is expanding into new regions and is constantly seeking to expand their coverage within Emerging Markets
Main responsibilities;
Providing Finance business support to the Credit, Currency and Structured Products division.
· The role will see you produce ‘added value’ analysis on business performance, including monthly reporting to Front Office.
· You will be responsible for high-level monthly analysis on product performance, which will require the oversight of the relevant Product Control teams and their daily PL reporting. (This is not a daily PL role)
· You will assist with the long-term planning for the division, including impact analysis for any new product launches.
· Key stakeholders will include those in Product Control, Accounting Policy, Risk Management and Group Corporate Planning.
The Candidate:
Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Ideally ACA qualified with experience of structured products
This opportunity would be an ideal opportunity for a candidate who has experienced a Finance rotation scheme, allowing for developed skills on both a daily (PL) and monthly basis. You will need good financial accounting experience, but also the ability to analyse and draw accurate commercial conclusions from large data sets.
