Responsibilities
The Moody's Investors Service (MIS) Global Operations group supports senior leadership in executing MIS priorities throughout the organization.

The Project Manager role is responsible for organizing, leading, and managing most aspects of high-profile projects from start to finish with emphasis on process and regulatory changes. This opportunity involves establishing new functions and coordinating organizational change while ensuring consistency, control, and quality with overall corporate strategy, commitments and goals. The role will require significant interaction with internal clients across all lines of business.

* Manage projects to enhance existing and develop new internal practice functions, coordinate organizational change, strengthen controls and quality while streamlining processes, and implement regulatory process requirements
* Participate in the planning of tasks through the development of project scope, approach, goals, deliverables, and work plans
* Coordinate project execution, track and ensure quality deliverables, report on progress to all stakeholders and coordinate relevant linkages across firm
* Develop and execute improvements in operating effectiveness and efficiency
* Prepare and present management and stakeholder communications utilizing PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel
* Support large scale change management programs led by senior team members; manage work stream within a larger project
* Build and maintain high quality relationships with senior management
* Facilitate discussions with internal clients and stakeholders to build consensus and finalize decisions
* Identify and document metrics and performance indicators as a method for measuring success
Qualifications
* Advanced degree preferred
* Proven leadership skills
* Professional qualification in Project Management or in relevant areas is a plus
* 6-8 years of relevant direct project management work experience gained from a financial institution or consultancy firm
* Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools
* Excellent communication skills - able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing
* Experienced in developing management presentations
* Highly organized and efficient, with ability to multi-task and able to meet tight deadlines
* Teamwork and coaching skills
* Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
* Able to work using own initiative and without close supervision
* Results oriented
