AVP (C++/JAVA) Options Smart Order Router)
One of Huxley Associates key client which is a top US based Investment Bank is looking to hire candidates for their Front office - Smart Order Routing team with in the Equities Trading division.
Job Background/context:
C++ and Java Developer to work on the clients Option Smart Order Router.
The successful candidate will be involved with design and development of new modules of the products in this space; working closely with theUSbased team.
This is critical role that have a high impact on the various businesses within group.
Position Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements by working with business analysts.
- Understand how Smart Router interface with other systems, maintain and enhance existing smart routing strategies.
- Design and implement new smart routing strategies and modules based on business requirements. If necessary, work with other IT groups to develop appropriate data interfaces and data transfer mechanisms.
- Write technical and support documentation for the systems. Train first-level support staff in the operation of the systems.
- Communicate progress and risks to management, estimate work schedules, anticipate and avoid problems.
- Stay current with advances in technology in his/her area of expertise and improve knowledge of business lines and market specifics.
- Experience with low latency, high frequency trading application development is desirable, FIX protocol a plus.
Knowledge/Experience:
- 6+ years experience,
- Should possess good knowledge in C++ min 3 Years , must have strong OOAD experience OR Experience in Java with strong Java architecture and Java development min 1 year
- Unix / Linux
- Sound knowledge of OO Concepts
- Hands on experience, excellent communication and team work skills
- Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in IT or other science related area, or equivalent professional work experience
- Knowledge of Market Data, Trading Technology and Financial Markets an advantage.

B.E/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA
