The Company
Our client is a leading European private bank.
The Role
You will review account opening application to ensure that the Bank's AML policy is being complied with and work with the business to resolve any issues noted in the application. You will assess AML risk of accounts to be opened and make appropriate recommendation to Compliance Manager, supported by sound reasons. Respond timely to business enquiries on account opening matters.
Further, you will perform transaction trend monitoring and prepare suspicious transaction report for review. You will continuously assess the parameters in the systems and make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the application. Compile monthly statistics for reporting and following up. You will also review hits for potential market abuse and escalate issues as required.
Your Profile
To succeed in the role, you should be a graduate of a tertiary institution and have at least 8 years of relevant working experience with minimum 3 years' experience in Wealth Management. You have knowledge in the use of Norkom, AFACS, Factiva. With good understanding of control concept as well as compliance rules and regulations, you work well with people and able to undertake pressure. Further, you are a strong communicator with good knowledge in private wealth.
