AVP / Credit Analyst, Americas Credit Division recruitment

1) General

• Provides well organized, accurate, clear and in depth company/industry analysis reports

• Provides effective in-depth analysis of credit worthiness of individual companies including own financial projection and industry profile.  Provides accurate and timely risk identification and recommendation to senior management for the appropriate credit strategy toward the individual companies and industries

• Monitors proactively assigned companies/industries and provides timely reports on periodical review and other significant events

• Prepare quarterly industry update reports which cover key industry issues and topics

• Respond to information requests from other Mizuho offices

• When needed, assist in the business promotion process and other essential assignments

2) Administrative

• Some - as necessary to fulfill above tasks.

3) Policy

• Observe bank-wide and division policies and procedures.

4) Management Responsibilities

• Assist Unit Head in implementing measures to accomplish department’s goals.

5) Behavioral Competencies:

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE
:

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel; financial modeling and forecasting skills are critical components of the role. 

• The employee will work closely on special projects with the DGM and the SVP in the group and to demonstrate advanced research capabilities and leadership qualities in multiple aspects of the job.

• Computer expertise, financial analysis, and writing/verbal/research skills are essential in this job. 

• An undergraduate degree in business administration, finance, accounting or closely allied educational discipline is required; an MBA, CFA and/or industry-specific certification is not required but is desirable.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including effective presentation and negotiation
