Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as AVP Credit Risk Analyst.
In this role, you will
- Oversee Credit Bureau data management, which include developing risk-based policy and bureau-driven portfolio management tool across all aspects of the credit cycle.
- Oversee all operational matters relating to bureau with major stakeholders and ensure that day to day risk management issues are handled and addressed appropriately.
- Provide quality Management Information System (MIS) for portfolio review and monitoring
- Lead any bureau-related initiatives and projects within the team, which will include participation in all system upgrades testing and user-acceptance testing on new data feeds.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit local regulatory requirements are met.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
- University graduate with economics, mathematics and statistics background
- Solid years of relevant experience.
- Possess strong analytical skills, logical and methodical thinking.
- Background in conducting statistical analysis of credit information.
- Working knowledge and experience with Credit Bureau Singapore/bureau-related information is preferred.
- Knowledge of the consumer banking product is essential.
- Excellent working knowledge of SAS and Excel.
- With strong writing and communication skills
