A prestigious private bank offering investment and wealth management services is looking for an ambitious credit specialist to join the risk team to serve as a credit manager/approver for credit products to clients in alignment with bank guidelines within delegated authory to ensure zero loan loss.
Your primariy role will be to conduct analysis on securities and assets being offered as collateral to determine lending suitability. Overtime, you will develop a proven lending track record in the private banking sector, you will work with the business to maintain and develop a high quality lending portfolio while upholding a strong credit control culture. In addition, you will be involved with Credit Structuring and Execution, Credit Monitoring, and support Strategic Initiative and ad-hoc projects. With great interpersonal skills, you will put into an independantrole and build sound working relationships with other product groups and be confident in carrying out ongoing negotiations and structuring directly with the responsible parties.
My client is seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of credit risk experience in private bank, with prior experience handling mortgage and insurance financial cases. Qualifications include experience in managing the transaction approval process by communicating with relationship managers and other internal stakeholders. You will have Bachelors or Masters. CFA preferrable. Knowledge of investment products and structures used by high net-worth clients preferred.
