AVP Database/C# Reporting Lead
One of the largest financial services providers in the world are actively seeking an AVP Database/C# Reporting Lead to join their London offices on a permanent basis. You will be working within the Risk and Analytics department, primarily responsible for the organisation’s risk management systems. With around 150,000 employees across 50 countries worldwide, you will be joining a company renowned for providing their client base with a full spectrum of solutions to their strategic advisory, financing and risk management needs.
Within your role as a Database/C# Reporting Lead, you will be primarily responsible for the following:
• Development lead of an agile team
• Data centric development with SQL Server, SSIS, C# and scripting tools
• Hadoop data manipulation and reporting
• Deliver solutions within a DevOps environment
• Training and development of junior programmers
Successful candidates will have a degree in a technical, mathematical or financial discipline from a leading university alongside experience of:
• SQL Server 2012/T-SQL/SSIS
• Agile development, preferably Scrum/Kanban
• NoSQL technologies, in particular Hadoop
• Java and C# programming languages
• Linux and shell scripting languages
