AVP Finance – Banking (Ref. no: AVPF-B/LRP030712) recruitment
Our client, a leading international private and commercial bank, are currently looking for an AVP to join their Finance Team in Hong Kong.
You will be responsible for Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting for 2 subsidiaries and will need to be able to independently prepare full sets of accounts for these. You will need to interact with and work with the front office regarding any accounting issues and will also need to work with and report to the European Head office. You must be able to prepare advanced accounting consolidations and will also have the ability to analyse and solve any accounting issues. You will also be providing assistance on management reporting. Additionally, you will have involvement in a new front office system implementation project, needing to provide UAT testing and will have involvement in system improvements on the regulatory reporting side.
You should be a qualified accountant with at least 3 years of experience working on Financial Reporting within a banking environment. Some understanding of the securities environment will be an advantage and you should also be a qualified accountant. You must have initiative and be an independent worker with the ability to be solutions focused. You should also have excellent communication skills, particularly in written and spoken English.
