AVP – Financial Control Change Management

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Financial Control Change Management division within a top tier Investment Bank based in London.

The purpose of the Financial Control Change Management Team is to support Financial Control in achieving its objectives by facilitating improvements to processes and systems, either to resolve issues or increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Your main responsibilities will include:

*Proactively following up issues and actions with business and IT stakeholders and ensuring that the Project Manager is kept informed
*Working with users to document and establish target business process compliant with new accounting standards
*Documenting existing and target business processes within Financial Control, including holding workshops with stakeholders to extract information
*Identifying process improvement opportunities and assisting users in transition to new business processes
*Analysing issues and proposing solutions
*Identifying issues and actions and ensuring they are documented in the CRAID log
*Documenting business requirements for IT development required, including liaising with IT analysts to ensure business requirements are understood
*Producing test plans and test scripts to enable thorough user acceptance testing of the IT and process changes
*Planning and coordinating go-live preparation and cutover activities

This is an opportunity for an individual with a Controls background (Financial Control or Product Control) obtained within a Banking environment, to transfer their skill set into a career within Change Management.
