AVP Financial Controller recruitment
Our client, a leading Global Bank currently seeks a AVP Financial Controller to join the Credit team. This role is to be based in London
The AVP Financial Controller will be part of the Credit Team, and will be responsible for:
-On boarding of new businesses into the Credit Trading model and control framework
-Perform and own the month-end close for specific businesses i.e MA/ FA reconciliation for all products reflected within the Front office PnL's
-Balance sheet substantiation
-PnL reconciliation and investigate and resolve any differences
-Distribution of the substantiations at an appropriate level for Senior Management review
-Validation of Front to Back reconciliations for all products (including cash controls)
-Liaison with external stakeholders to the Financial controlling function
-Responsibility for generation of internal KPI and KRI's
As such, the successful AVP Financial Controller will have the following skills and experience:
-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
-Knowledge of Futures/ Emerging Markets
-SAP Experience
-Banking Experience
-User of excel/access (intermediate-advanced user)
