About Our Client
Our Client has a strong presence in the Banking Industry in Singapore.
Job Description
- This position will sit within the group finance function and will be preparing the financial statements the Bank and its subsidiaries.
- Maintaining the accounting records of selected subsidiaries within the Bank.
- Ensure that the Bank and Group's accounting policies are aligned to developments in the Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Exposure Drafts, Companies Act and other regulatory requirements.
- Identify, streamline and automate processes for effectiveness and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- The ideal candidate will be CPA qualified, currently in a big 4 environment for the last 4 years
- The ideal candidate can be auditing Financial Services and Non Financial Services
- Bachelor of Accountancy with at least 3-6 years experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or in the financial services sector.
- Strong academic background. Preferably a qualified accountant eg CA/CPA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, meticulous, with a high level of initiative and ability to work within tight deadlines.
