AVP, Financial Risk and Control recruitment
This is a strategic role sitting within the Financial Control team to ensure Finance functions in full compliance with internal / regulatory policies and without any operational risk. This is done through the active monitoring of the financial control environment, and the resolution of weaknesses and issues when they are identified. You will play an advisory role to the Business on financial control matters, and review the results of controls exercise undertaken to prevent compliance issues from occurring. You will also take charge of the operational risk reporting for Finance. This is an excellent role which gives you a broad overview of the Finance department.
To qualify for the role, you have more than 5 years of relevant experience in a Financial Institution or the Big 4, covering the audit of firms in the banking sector. You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills, and are able to engage effectively with internal stakeholders. You have an eye for details, and are able to multi-task in a demanding work environment.
