AVP, Fund Administration, Asset Management recruitment
The Asset Management arm of a Top Tier Investment Bank is currently building out its Fund Administration team in Singapore and is seeking highly motivated part/qualified accountants with excellent communication skills to join the growing team
Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance checks on information received, including reconciliation of cash and security positions to external counterparties.
- Assist in the preparation of NAVs.
- Ensure that all deliverables are completed by agreed deadlines and controls are evidenced.
- Work closely with the business, custodians, brokers, technology and other internal teams to resolve queries and improve the client's experience.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Comply with internal controls, policies and procedures and regularly review and update procedures and training documentation.
- Project work as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Part / qualified accountant with at least 3 years accounting experience
- Solid knowledge of foreign and domestic listed securities and derivatives
- A full understanding of the theoretical and technical aspects of portfolio accounting.
- Prior general ledger experience
- Flexibility and a proven record of working through change.
- Focus on quality and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal, client relationship and communication skills.
- Strong people and process management skills.
- Able to prioritise and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
