AVP FX Settlements
An international financial services organisation is looking for an FX Settlements Analyst to report into the head of the department in their Singapore office for a 6 month contract. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for managing the business as usual process and settlements team for products FX Cash, Options, Derivatives, and Money market for the APAC and Global branch.
Job responsibilities include:
- ensuring trade feed from front office to back office
- ensuring FX/FXO/NDF fixings and trades are completed for settlements
- communicating directly with clients, trade support or front office and responding promptly to queries
- ensuring matching and settlement queues are monitored regularly and follow-ups are actioned for timely settlement trades
- pre-valuing date settlement exception management and handling general queries raised
To succeed in this role, the candidate must have good understanding of the products as well as a quality degree level education, and be immediately available.
Other key requirements include:
- hands on management experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- strong understanding of numerate understanding of investment banking products
- high attention to detail
- excellent interpersonal skills, experience/confidence in liaising with people of all levels and within various departments
- flexible to working hours
