AVP Institutional Sales – Global leading Asset management firm recruitment

The Company

Our client is a leading global asset management firm with strong presence across the Asia Pacific region, specifically Greater China region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre candidate to join them.

The Role

Maintain good relationship and grow the AUM. Build up and maintain good relationship with business partners such as retail banks, private banks, IFAs and insurance companies. Establish focused marketing programs to support business development and target new business opportunities. Formulate individual product marketing plans in conjunction with sales and investment management personnel. Achieve sales and AUM targets. Present product and market views to intermediaries and clients at seminars and workshops. Proactively provide product and market updates to distribution channels. Provide sales support for fund promotions and new fund launch. Work closely with Marketing to create effective product communications programs including effective sales tools, market communications, collateral materials and web content. Work closely with Product Development with initiatives to determine effective product positioning through isolating competition, identifying developing channels and targeting new competitive opportunities.

Your Profile

To be considered, you will be a university graduate with 8 years of experience and at least 3 to 5 years Asset Management experience. Sound knowledge of investment products or finance. Excellent presentation skills required. Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure. Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
