AVP, Operational Risk – Operations (HKD 50k to 70K) recruitment
The Company
Our client, a top tier investment bank with global presence, is expanding their operations team to develop a strong control function within its Bank's entities.
The Role
This is a regional role and will look after the operation efficiency in the Asia- Pac region. Sitting in the Operations team, the role is to oversee the risk and control function within the department. The future jobholder is to perform risk reviews (risk policies and tools), develop and assign appropriate KRI's KPI's and implement banking regulations to the overall Operations department. Overall, the team will be working closely with members around the globe to implement a global control initiative for all product lines.
Your Profile
The successful candidate should have strong knowledge in banking regulations and good understanding of operations (from front to back) in an investment bank. He or She could come from either Big 4 (must be in risk or due diligence team), investment bank operational risk or in house bank regulator consultants. He or she should come with at least 4 years of experience in risk management and possess strong risk control mentality. Because the role requires the future job holder to liaise with multiple counterparties (internally), excellent communication and presentation is a must.
