AVP Operations Capital Markets (Treasury)
There are currently 5 team members all based in Hong Kong, the candidate filling this position will be expected to become a subject matter expert in Operations processes, regulatory environment and an influential team leader and stakeholder manager. (Relocation is an option but Asia experience is essential)
This division provides large corporate, government and institutional clients with a full spectrum of solutions to their strategic advisory, financing and risk management needs. Their clients also benefit from access to the breadth of expertise across the bank.
Your main duties will include;
- Supervise Treasury Operations processing team: fixed income settlement (CMU Clearstream) and payment (HK RTGS and Swift).
- Participant in project meeting discussion with local, regional global infrastructure groups, work with the change team to analyze and determine business requirements, participant in end-to-end UAT implementation on new product, business process flow.
- Provide back up to checker releaser role on trade settlement, payment and related tasks.
- Review update procedures manual and process flowchart to timely reflect change in workflow
- Launch of new product/business.
- Continually evaluate the effectiveness of operational procedures to maximize departmental productivity in a highly controlled operating environment
You will need to have
- Bachelors degree or above
- At least 3 years relevant experience with a bank.
- Knowledgeable in banking business product, especially in RMB product settlements, inter-bank customer payment remittance process control standard.
- Good communication skills, both written verbal in English; good spoken Mandarin is preferable.
- High-level proficiency in MS Office suite.
