AVP Product Control recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Operational Risk control risk monitoring of Product Control line functions
• Ensuring globally consistent framework of month end reporting
• Conduct reviews and analysis of monthly controls packs by business lines to ensure compliance with the global policy
• Perform consultative Deep dives review of Control risks identified by line functions and make recommendations of resolution plans
• Participate in the IT development of the various Control related platforms helping in shaping strategic development
• Write Control policy guidelines in conjunction with the global team
• Engage with Internal Audit, Operational Risk Management and Balance Sheet Control on issues of mutual interest
• Engage with Compliance on behalf of product control for coordinating Regulatory investigations impacting product control
Requirements:
• 3+ years finance and/or product control experience within financial services
• Demonstrated understanding of Balance Sheet Accounting controls
• Exposure to daily Product Control, Guidance and Oversight functions
• Knowledge of month-end close
• Numerate, able to work with spreadsheets and perform financial analysis
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Bachelors degree required
